So I have decided that during the week this summer I will only where Mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow: No concealer, foundation, blush or bronzers except for sunday and special ocasions. So far this week has been fine; however, I look at the dark circles under my eyes and I desperately want to cover it up. I am hoping that my mostly make-up free face will enjoy the break. I am not bashing make-up I just feel that there are days we can go without. I wash my face put a little shimmer, eyeliner, and mascara on my eyes and poof...I am ready in less that 2 minutes. The other reason that I am not wearing all the make up is I plan on being at the pool most days and I hate rubbing sunscreen over my make up. I think I will buy an SPF mosterizor anyways. Also wearing make up becomes a habbit and I find I am less confident without it. I feel ugly or sick looking. While I feel this way I know it is not true so I am proving to myself that I can go without.

weird! I've been thinking about going completely without makeup on the weekdays and non special occasions. Great minds think alike!
Here's a tip, though. I always only ever just use a concealer stick under my eyes and never any foundation because it hides my freckles. At first you worry about uneven skin but then you get used to it. Have you noticed it on me?? Neutrogena's stick is good for your skin, too, and has a little spf in it. :)
Good for you! I personally don't know how you can stand to wear a full face every day normally - by the end of summer, you're going to love the freedom so much I predict you won't go back! :) Women need to realize that we're perfectly beautiful without all the crap society says we need to put on in order to live up to the "standard"... that's what I say anyhow.
Love.
I agree with both of you. Truthfully I don't where foundation except on special occasions. I also only where concealer under my eyes but I feel like the concealer my perpetuate the dark circles...we will see.
also, if you do want to wear a foundation that isnt heavey, try a mineral based one, the loose powder. They are alot more light on the skin but gives the coverage u want. PLus they wont clog the pores and it lets your skin breathe more :)
a fantastic moisturizer is Nutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion. The one with Alpha- Hydroxey. It comes in SPF 15 and SPF 30, I think. . .
It is great because it helps to improve dull, rough or uneven skin. . I LOVE IT!
I use the same moisturizer as Natasha and love it. Yeah for less (or none in my case) make-up!!!
Me too!!! I LOVE it!
But I think I'll have to move to something for wrinkles... :(
