Today:

6:00am wake Jed up who had to go in early, try to be quiet, make coffee, burrito for Jed, wake Jed up again, sigh as Wyatt stirs, kiss Jed goodbye, cuddle with Wyatt in bed till-

7-8am: wake, diaper change, breakfast, short game of hide and seek, brush teeth & wash faces

8-9am: take Manny to school, walk the dog at park across street (who's been groomed! He actually is cute now) with sis, "race" Wyatt, build arm muscles carrying him after he tires, water!

9:15-10:30am: read Big Colors Board Book and Baby Faces, build blocks with the Sher'f, get ready for playdate

10:30-12noon: playdate for mom and babes group @ Pump It Up! Totally wear myself and DS (dear son) out jumping around, solidify carpool for hike later in the week. Wywy fawns over babies in group and hugs and kisses them. (Something I need to talk to DH (dear husband) about tonight, maybe?) Re-Bar, bunny crackers, and water!

12:30-3p: Sher'f down after milk for his nap, chores, and apple butter making (with apples from tree at end of drive). Harvest 2 more zuchinis and swear to make another lattice tart. Snack for me - extra apple, string cheese, couple of garden fresh snow peas. Prepare lunch of same peas and quesadilla for Wywy.

3-3:50p Wywy wakes, change diaper, hugs and "the more we get together song" with sign that he loves SOO much!, lunch for Wywy, water for mama, leave DS after many hugs and kisses with Liz and Manny (who are staying with us) to go to work.

3:55-4:25p TRAFFIC

4:30p Work, and email etc. (til 8:30p, then home @ 9p, probably a small snack, chill with Jed, fold some laundry, do some dishes, read Orion in bed, asleep by 11:30p)

Love.

We went to Kelcema Lake which is in the Snoqualmie-Baker national forest outside of Verlot (NE of Everett, past Granite Falls). It was a short kid-friendly hike (0.6 mi into lake), and Wyatt took the lead the whole way! He discovered the blueberries about 10 feet into it, and kept pausing to pick them along the way. He had blueberry juice all over his chubby little hands and around his mouth - so CUTE! Then we went for a dip in the lake, made mud pies, and Wywy gave himself a mud mask on his belly (I don't know how I ended up with such an adorable sweet charming little boy, but I thank God every morning for him!) had some lunch and lounged before heading back... it was bliss. :)

Love.
