Yesterday we hopped on a plane in Indiana and ended up in Washington. Over all we spent 10 hours traveling. Barec was wonderful and we were exhausted. Even as tired as we were driving through the mountains at 4 AM (Indiana time) I couldn't help but see all the stars lighting our way. Truly incredible. They stars have moved and the Milky Way was so bright that I felt the excitement to be back in the mountains underneath such an amazing sky.
I also knew we had arrived when I saw a woman wearing Keen water shoes with socks. Gotta love the PNW.
