My Ryan

I never want my blog to feel like an obligation or chore: something that I HAVE to do. Rather, I want to blog when I want and have the freedom to type what I may for whatever reason. This is a guilt free, non-committed blog...right? Ahhhh. So what does this have to do with My Ryan. Nothing. Absolutely nothing, but who is writing here...ME.

I started this post a while back but looking at these photos I deleted the previous texts only to start again today. This is my Ryan. Together for 10 years. He is my narrator, grammar specialist, food guide, and travel companion. He is my counselor, friend, and comic. Sigh, I totally have a crush. Lets have a slide show....Ahem -

Here is my Ryan ready for church with our son. I remember being smitten with his love for God. His testimony so strong and bound to our Savior. His example humbles me. One time I was crying over an English paper I was supposed to right. I felt my world would end. Without any belittling Ryan looked at me and said "Honey, how does this paper relate to the eternal scheme of things?" It didn't! He trusts in the Lord and teaches me how to do the same everyday.

Here is my Ryan, at a fancy shmancy award ceremony. Professionally he works so hard. He endures so much to provide for our family. He is an incredible teacher. He taught me to love reading. He is patient.

Here is my Ryan being a dad. You have to see how truly wonderful a father he is. He whistles to him in the kitchen. Dances with him when the music moves, reads to him at night, gets Barec to giggle, and takes the night shift every other night! When I was working I would come home and ask "What did you guys do today?" His response was always "Barec and I are buddies, we hang out" AHHHHH. I want to burst - I love this guy.

Here is my Ryan a true husband. The quiet man. He loves me. Tells me I am beautiful, plans wonderful surprises for me, bakes me cakes, cooks me dinners, fixes stuff - and he cuddles. He makes me laugh harder than anyone I know and supports me through anything. I couldn't have picked a better person to spend forever with.

So this is my Ryan. All, I want to say is thank you God. He is just right for me and I am grateful that You put us together.
