Beautiful Day

Today I felt giddy and alive. Lets start at the beginning. Ryan is writing during spring break so every morning he takes the car and Barec and I hang out. Well, so far Barec just watches me while I clean. Today was different though, because I was carless, my friends came to my house to run and I was able to try the running stroller for the first time..AHHHHH. It was great. I was so energized when I got home that I could not stay in and continue cleaning. Barec took a nap which gave me enough time to shower, do my hair (big deal) and eat lunch. We caught the noon bus to town to visit Ryan and go to the library.

Here we are walking and enjoying IU. We stopped by to see Ryan, unfortunately Ryan was driving out of the parking lot. Once again I got to run. About two blocks later and 10 "RYAN'S" yelled he was gone and I was sweaty. Good thing Barec was buckled in. Needless to say he wanted out of the stroller after the mania and into the sling.

We made it to the library to hang out in the new "Baby" section. Barec and I were happy to see dad. We played and looked at all the toys then off for a walk down town. Barec made a friend called Palmer at J.L. Waters. It was drool at first sight. Ryan and I also checked out some baby packs so we can start planning for some overnight pack hike with our little cutie.

We then stopped by the toy store and Barec made another friend. I guess he likes birds of prey like his dad. Here is where I hum "there a blue bird on my shoulder"...He was pretty tuckered by then so what better way to end the day then ice cream and a drive. When we got there Barec managed to pee through his diaper. That's when things got crazy. He took off all his clothes grabbed the steering wheel and tried to drive us to home. His planned failed. Instead he got a diaper change and we got ice cream. Cherry Cordial thank you very much.

It was a wonderful day and I can't wait for the summer to enjoy more of these days with my boys.
