Brazil - Day 5 - Everything is closed, well most everything

Oops, I got some days mixed up!I Forgot to include the Saturday before Sunday.

It started with a run on Ipanema, then off to Ryan's presentation. After which we got a bite to eat at one of the juice bars. Following, we took a trip on the Metro downtown. Unfortunately everything closes down on Saturdays so there was no shopping and limited museums. So now you know. Downtown is CLOSED on the weekends. Still, we did manage to see some gorgeous buildings and one art exhibit. On the way home we stopped for some amazing flan at a little bakery on the corner by our condo. I love this city.

It was a long day, but so worth it. We spent some much time looking at architecture and just talking. He is so patient and good to me.
