Ipanema at Sunset
Sorry, the internet became very slow in Brazil, so on Day 5 I got tired of waiting for pictures to load and stopped blogging. Nevertheless, I thought I would continue to update (thanks for motivation Mooks).
Day 5 we went to church. I can't tell you how amazing it is to know that there are people all over the world worship Jesus Christ. Even though I could not understand some of the language I felt the Holy Ghost as I listened to testimonies of God and sang hymns. We learned about faith in Christ and the Power of Forgiveness. It was just nice to be in the little chapel and feel at peace.
Once church was over, Ryan and I headed home and shared a lunch with an American we met at church. When then we out for a walk until the sunset. It was amazing to watch the surfers in the water and listen to a live samba band on the beach. It was a slow, restful, and relaxing Sunday.

i remember that feeling, just sitting and enjoying the spirit even though i didn't understand anything!!! love it!!!
