Baa-KhAAAAAAAAAAA!
So I know this woman whose young daughter raises chickens. 35 of them to be exact. Her daughter sells these eggs and uses the profits to donate money to a local therapeutic equestrian facility in town. She is so cute and I can't believe she is so young. So I decided to buy a dozen for $2.50. I was so surprised to see that some of the eggs were GREEN!

I wanted to put on my apron and go milk a cow I was so thrilled. So I decided to have a taste test between farm fresh and store bought eggs.

The egg on the right is the farm fresh egg. It was in a smaller shell, but look at how huge the yolk is! 1 point for the farm fresh egg. After, tasting them I have to say that the farm fresh was
rich in flavor and more fluffy. Oh...it was good.

Yummy!

I always wondered about that...we seriously have so many people here in good ole' Riverton, Utah that raise chickens and have fresh eggs. So you DO like green eggs? :)
Is it a therapeutic ridding program? So neat! I never could taste the difference between store and fresh, but I have been told that the fresher an egg is the less it spreads when you crack it into the pan. I guess that would only work if you can neatly crack an egg hu? I love that you taste tested them next to each other though, that is totally something J and I would do!
Yum is right! I want to duplicate that color egg on a wall somewhere.
Yes EJ it is therapeutic ridding place in town.
Shelley - green eggs are good
Annessa - I thought the same thing when I saw that egg color.
I love it! Although you really should have scrambled them to make sure you didn't know which one was which ;) j/k
I lOVE! Can we get some in October??
