Breath, Sigh, Relax...Now I can update

July 31st was my last post and I can't believe it has almost been two months. The weird thing is when I don't post I also don't read blogs because I feel guilty. Today I can't bare the guilt and I am desperate to read blogs. Lets start with the Breaking Dawn weekend and go from there....

The Breaking Dawn Sleepover
The party started at 7pm at L.'s house where we predicted, discussed, quizzed, and ate. Then we went to Barnes-N-Nobel for more of the same stuff. At midnight we got our books and off we went. During that same time we Skyped with my sister, cousin and SIL in UT. It was so much fun.
Being Goofy at Barnes
Only three of us made it through the whole night. Unfortunately I couldn't finish the book right away because I had to go to youth conference and help teach and chaperon the dance until midnight- Ryan and I had a blast swing dancing and salsa'ing the night away. By then I was up for 36 straight hours so I was loopy. The next day I stayed up until 3AM to finish the book. I LOVED IT. It was a crazy roller coaster of shocking mess!

Chicago Breakdawn Concert
Tuesday L. and her Mom invited me to go with them to Chicago for the concert. AMAZING. On the way there we listened to various soundtracks for the books, Breaking Dawn audiobook, and each others reviews of the books. Once there we explored the city and I ate an incredible Italian dinner - I will never forget it even when I am old and forget everything. We got to meet Stephenie Meyer and she signed our books ---YEAH!
L. and Her Mom and Me...We were so excited!!!
We were only 10 rows back from the stage --AHHHHHHH!

I saw these shoes at the mall in Chicago and really wanted them. I had to remind myself I wanted to save the money for more important things like...hum Adoption!
We came home on Wednesday night after which I headed over to Olive Garden for L.'s surprise birthday party. I swear that was the longest 5 days of my life. I was going on no sleep and too many moon pies. The following days I slept and then got sick with a cold, but it was worth it.

That's cool - a Dawn Concert?! What music did they play: the stuff that inspired Stephanie Meyer to write or songs inspired by the book?

Wow! Sounds like a ton of fun! Glad to have new stuff to read on your blog... :) Got your message, crazy busy here, will call soon!

Love,

Jess

P.S. Leant the series to my sister who absolutely LOVED it. She has since convinced me to see the movie with her... (twist my arm) :)

Hey- so I just found your blog through Kaijsas.
I am so jealous you got to go to that release party and concert. How fun! I just got the coolest Twilight T-shirt at that punk store "Hot Topic" in the Idaho Falls mall, they have tons. Mine says Cullens in an emblem, with the Twilight logo on back.
Look us up-keep in touch.
