It seems that winter in Indiana is holding on with its wet cold teeth! Nevertheless, Ryan bought some strawberries and now I am dreaming of them and spring. I know spring is just around the corner and I want it to kick winter in the mouth and spit in its eye!

Ryan bought strawberry plants or strawberries at the grocery store? My strawberry plants have NOT liked the last week here - we've had snow, frost, and a freak hail storm ("Mama, look at all the white balls!"). Thank goodness they're in a hanging planter from last spring and not in the ground so I was able to move them close to the house and keep them a little warmer. I heard that the last frost here isn't supposed to be till April 11th! Wah :(

I think the thing I love the most about living on the Central Coast is our LOOOONG strawberry season. Makes me very happy!
