It's a good thing I am poor - I can't be the average american even if I wanted to! I guess the test will be when Matthias graduates and gets a job... money makes people fat!

Wow, those statistics are scary, but certainly not new. See why I'm so interested in nutrition? Not only are most people not even thinking about what they are eating, but they wouldn't know how to put together a complete, balanced, nutritous meal if they DID think about how sick that burger and fries is making them. It's very sad, and I am determined to change that for as many people as I can (once I'm done with school). It's funny, I was sitting here this evening having dinner with Wyatt and worrying about his fruit/vegetable consumption, but thank goodness he eats at least 3 servings a day (even if it is all fruit for a week, and then all veggies the next)! I am inspired to start a petition to outlaw advertisements targeting kids like Quebec and Sweden. That's one of the main reasons we rarely let the Sheriff watch TV. Inspired, but when will I find the time?

Love.
