So for Halloween I was invited to attend a silent film with the music played by a famous organist, Dennis James, for the silent film the Cat and the Canary. This movie was set in 1927 and so I thought it appropriate to dress up in a dated period. My inspiration came from my grandparents wedding photo. While my look is the 1940's Ava Gardnerish - I thought it worked. It was so fun to watch and listen to the wonderful music and I dearly thank my sweet friend for taking me along. Unfortunately Ryan stayed home to pass out candy...
