So this morning I did something completing humiliating and silly. It started at 5:45 am this morning when I got up, put on a bikini and headed to the gym. I met my friend in the parking lot and we giggled with some hestitation about todays workout. Now just so you know I wasn't only wearing a bikini, I also had on some sweats and a t-shirt. But as we headed into the locker room I began to get nervous...Today was the day that we were going to weigh our bodies, measure our bodies, and ....wait for it.....wait for it...take humiliating photos of our bodies - all to document our fitness progress.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I really don't want to know what I weigh and I haven't even weighed myself for at least two months. Also, who wants to know how round their waiste is or how wide their butt stretches. But in the name of progress and documentation my friend and I did just that. We stood between two rows of lockers clad in our skimpies with a bright pink measuring tape and the faces of uncomfortable emabarrestment as we measured ourselves. Now I am a big believer in feeling sexy, beautiful, and healthy no matter what size and shape you may be but when A. busted out her cell phone camera I was ready to hide my sexy, beautiful, healthy body in a locker, but instead I stood in front of the lime green tiled wall as the photo shoot began! Yikes!!!!
When all was said and done I slid on my comfortable black one piece and headed to the pool for some laps.
So the lesson I learned is florescent lighting and green tile are awful for photos, people look at you weird when you are in a locker room wearing a bikini and holding measuring tape, and no cell phones are aloud in the the locker room.

I just want to know when the calendar edition comes out!
Seriously! You're a HOT, gorgerous girl and I will NEVER believe that you're NOT sexy!!!
I'm glad you have a new work out partner and I'm sad at the same time, because it makes me realize how much I miss our daily, morning routine... And YOU!!! :(
Yeah, right, like there's an inch of flab on your tiny little runner's body. Don't make me give you nightmares by emailing you MY "before" photo. YIKES.
Love.
