Gone Fishing!

Have I told you I love my new schedule! I have time to play with my husband and relax! It is truly the best. On Friday after my class Ryan and I went fishing together. Lake Monroe is only a 15 minute drive away and it was so relaxing to sit and enjoy the weather while we tried to catch bass. It took awhile but Ryan caught a tiny one 2 and half hours into our little trip. While we were fishing we met this endearing couple who were going kayaking, what made it funny was their little dog “Belle” was going too. I thought it was soooo cute. When the couple returned Ryan and I talked with them and learned they had been married 43 years!!! And in the last couple of those years they took up horse back riding, Wagon riding, archery, musket shooting, and now kayaking!!! I couldn’t believe all the adventures and things they were learning together at an older age. When Ryan and I drove home I told him that I wanted to be like that couple…I want be having adventures together, learning new hobbies, and still friends as we age together…he definitely agreed…what a wonderful night.
