Swimming

A second week has passed and I have managed to not excuse my way out of my workout out plan. I have a wonderful friend that I go with and if it wasn't for her I don't know if I could get up and go everyday! Monday through Wednesday it is cardio time, Thursday's we swim, Fridays we are on our own and Saturdays we step together. Last night as we were swimming we talked about what our favorite day of exercise is. We both agree that swimming is the most fun and relaxing. We run up and down the swimming lanes, doggy paddle, use kick boards, underwater weights, and froggy swim. After we finish our "laps," which we do for 35 minutes, we go to the 18ft. deep end to just swim as we please. I love this part because the water is so warm (the lap pool is freezing). It really feels like you are swimming in an incredibly large bath. Ohhh, I just float and stare at the ceiling, jump of the high dive, see how long I can swim under water, and just play like an 8yr old in a lake on a hot day. Then, I come home and sleep wonderfully...yep I definitely love Thursday swim days.

i miss the good old work out days at IU! Although we never swam, the eliptical and track hold fond memories for me!

You and Ola are amazing to keep to such a routine!

Bravo! I myself am doing an aerobics video for 40 minutes M-F in the morns before the babe wakes up, and then yoga on nights when I'm not in school. I've been walking with a friend to playdates a couple days a week, and that's nice, but I can't WAIT till I can afford a bike trailer so Wyatt and I can get out on the trails. :)

You're a fish. I don't know if I'll ever acclimate to the water.

Love.
