Joanna and Spencer Arrived 3 days before Christmas and We spent our time watching movies, cooking, playing video games, and quilting. We laughed a ton and had a blast just being lazy and waiting for Christmas.
For Christmas Eve dinner we enjoying a prime-rib roast, funeral potatoes, and steamed broccoli. We washed it down with sparkling apple cider and for dessert Spencer made an apple pie which we enjoyed later in the evening while playing Canasta (the best old people game ever!)
Christmas morning came quickly and we all slowly made our way down stairs to open stockings and gifts. I was very excited and couldn’t wait! We read a scripture about Christ’s birth and opened our day with a pray of thanks for all the blessings the Lord has given us this year .

From Christian: This is a cool blog.
I'm glad to hear you got to spend Christmas with some family. Sounds like you guys had a nice time. I got the f.j. a few days after Christmas. Thanks for the necklace! I also got your christmas letter, which I always love. I really should start doing that myself cause we always forget to buy cards till it's way too late. Especially with the Sher'f's bday, and now my NEW NEICE! (more details when I call), it's just crazy that time of year. Anyways, happy holidays belatedly!
Looks like you got a jacket that you wanted....
I guess we have the same one, except for different colors... I got mine just before we left for Texas...It's amazing that bry let me open it earlier!!!
Congratulations!!! Yeah for new Nieces!
