I got up this morning at 7:50am and managed to wash my face, make lunch, grab some school stuff, and get to work 15 minutes late! Not bad if I say so myself. I will be quiting my Job officially this Friday and will be hourly next week for only 12 hours. I don't want to seem ungrateful becuase my job has been such a blessing: I am able to do homework, cook meals in the full out kitchen, Blog, make money to pay our bills, health benifits, and qualified to buy our home. While I am truly happy about all these things I am even more happy to say "Adios La Casa". I am so ready for something new and different. I just can't wait. So, with that said, I find it very hard to be motivated at work to do anywork at all!
On anther note, I finished the Silver Chair, which is the 6th book from the Chronicles of Narnia. I am still thinking about what I "think" about this book....I like the thought that precious stones could be organic and we could squeeze the juices from rubies or diamonds and taste the sweet flavor. But hum...I am still wondering about the book. For sure this book was more explicit about Aslans role in our lives and the wonderful knowledge he has...yet I am still wondering about the book.
On the last note, Ryan told me before he left to water all the plants in the house....So I did....everyday! And the result is that I killed 3 plants, one plant he had owned for over eight years and I managed to kill it in just 2 months! Oh, I felt bad. So, yesturday he went and bought 3 more plants and soil and replaced the dead ones. These new ones are very pretty and I like them. He also cleaned up our jungle on the back porch and now whe have a beautiful garden. Did I mention he did this in 95 degree weather with at least 80 percent humidity - or at least it felt like it! The final project was beautitful.

Hey guess what? I'm quitting work too! I think you already knew that, but I'm pretty elated. I'm nervous though about what comes next...
Don't feel bad about the plants; many people overwater houseplants. At least you killed them with love, right? Also, if Ryan hasn't thrown out the plants, often you can take a cutting from a sorta-healthy part and start it in water in a sunny spot. Wait till it grows roots and then plant it in potting soil and remember not to overwater this time! :)
Love
P.S. My veggie garden exploded while we were gone! My pumpkin has gone wild and is growing onto the lawn! It's a beautiful sight. I was able to harvest my first green beans, snap peas, zuchini and strawberries! Wyatt ate the strawberries immediately of course, and I made a lattice tart with the zuchinis which was DELICIOUS. I should have taken a picture it was so pretty, but alas, it got eaten too quickly at the BBQ. Snap peas are yummy right off the vine, and we made the beans for dinner the next night. I can't wait till the next harvest! :) What are you guys growing?
Oh, Jess, I can imagine how beautiful your garden is! AHHHH your quiting your job. Great! Also, how was the vacation. In our garden we just have flowers: Geraniums, sweet peas, magnolias, and inside they are all low light in door plants.
HURRAH for a new job! You will rock it out on your assistantship and finishing up your degree. . .did I mention that I am jealous!
Can't tell you how much I miss you!
