Cincinnatti

I have 10 minutes before one of my clients shows up for some counseling ...so I thought I would blog.

This weekend was great. I went to Cincinnatti with friends. We got a hotel for 89 dollars and it ended up being a 2 bedroom condo with a 70's TV in the bathroom. We were on the twelth (sp?) floor and had a great view of the city.

That night we road in the back of a police car to Shanghia Mamma's and were served massively huge amounts of chinese food at 11 o'clock at night. Yeah I just said police car!

The next day we tried to walk to Newport but the helpful "street person" (as he called himself) gave us the wrong directions. So we walked in the muggy hot sun for about 20 minutes. By then my clothes hung on me like papermache and I could see. Thus we decided to get back to the car. Drove to Newport, Kentucky. Ate a great seafood lunch on the Ohio river while watching a boat show (not planned) then headed to a 4 acre grocery store called Jungle Jim's International Market.

Jungle Jims was crazy!!!!!! It was Chucky Cheese "jungle theme" meets international market. They had everything. I bought some thomas kemper from seattle, guava from puerto rico, lichis from taiwan, and much more, they even had a polish section!
